Nonspreading solutions and patch formation in an integro-difference model with a strong Allee effect and overcompensation

چکیده

Previous work involving integro-difference equations of a single species in homogenous environment has emphasized spreading behavior unbounded habitats. We show that, under suitable conditions, simple scalar equation incorporating strong Allee effect and overcompensation can produce solutions where the population persists an essentially bounded domain without spread despite homogeneity environment. These are robust that they occupy region full measure parameter space. develop orbit diagrams showing various patterns nonspreading from stable equilibria, period-two, to higher periodicity. relatively uniform initial density with small stochastic perturbations, consisting multiple isolated patches emerge. In ecological terms, this suggests novel endogenous mechanism for creation patch boundaries.

A Food Chain Model with Strong Allee Effect in Prey

In recent years, there has been an intense focus on the construction of mathematical models involving certain interesting ecological phenomena like Allee effect. Many animal and plant species suffer a decrease of the per capita rate of increase as their populations reach small sizes or low densities. In this article, a three species food chain model is proposed and analysed where prey species i...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

An Economical Model with Allee effect

The Marx model for the profit rate r depending on the exploitation rate e and on the organic composition of the capital k is studied using a dynamical approach. Supposing both e(t) and k(t) are continuous functions of time we derive a law for r(t) in the long term. Depending upon the hypothesis set on the growth of k(t) and e(t) in the long term, r(t) can fall to zero or remain constant. This l...
